Pastor Zach Bruner
Pastor
After 17 years of serving the Lord as a missionary in Brazil, God called Zach Bruner into the pastorate stateside. In November of 2025, Pastor Bruner accepted the call to pastor Silver City Baptist Church. He and his lovely wife, Sara, have been married since 2006. They have six children: Landon, Paige, Blake, Jackson, Tori, and Lawson. Being from the midwest, Pastor and his family are excited to learn and experience firsthand what they learned from afar about the history and life of beautiful New England.
Pastor David Cooper Sr.
Pastor Emeritus
Pastor Cooper grew up in South Jersey and later met his wife Cherri while training for the ministry at Tennessee Temple University. Shortly after graduating they married in 1976. While in school God used Pastor Cooper to assist in planting three churches. This gave him valuable experience for God’s next step in his life. The Coopers went on to become missionary church planters in New England. In May of 1983 they established Capeway Baptist Church in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. In 1992 the church became self supporting and called a full time pastor. In 1993 the Coopers began Silver City Baptist Church and stayed on as the pastor until January 2026 when they retired. They still serve as faithful members of the church.
